German Darts Grand Prix 2026 results as Nathan Aspinall is crowned champion of PDC European Tour event

Nathan Aspinall clinched his fourth European Tour title with an 8-5 victory over Danny Noppert in the German Darts Prix final on Monday.

Michael van Gerwen's defence of his 2025 title had earlier been brought to a shuddering halt when stunned 6-1 by home favourite Niko Springer in round two on Sunday.

Gian van Veen also exited the competition at the same stage, losing 6-2 to William O'Connor. Ryan Searle and Damon Heta were other big casualties early on.

It was Aspinall - a winner of three European Tour titles in 2025 - who ultimately returned to winning ways in Munich, defying a spirited fightback from Noppert to claim the £35,000 top prize.
